Privacy Policy

MyPrompt+ is a teleprompter app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, made by You Know That Site. This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: it doesn't collect any.

What we collect

Nothing. MyPrompt+ has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We don't receive your scripts, settings or any other data, and we don't share anything with third parties.

What stays on your device

• Your scripts and settings (speed, text size, theme and so on) are stored only on your device.
• Your place in each script is remembered on your device, so you can pick up where you left off.
• Files you import are copied into the app on your device. MyPrompt+ only opens the files you choose.

If you delete the app, this information is deleted with it.

Camera

If you turn on the front camera, MyPrompt+ shows a live preview so you can frame yourself behind the script. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere.

Local network and Apple Watch

To let one device control another, MyPrompt+ connects directly to your other devices running the app on the same Wi-Fi network (or nearby, over peer-to-peer Wi-Fi). The Apple Watch app talks to your iPhone through Apple's Watch Connectivity.

• These connections stay on your local network. They never go through the internet or any server of ours.
• A new remote has to be allowed on the prompter device before it can control it or see any script details.
• Only what's needed is exchanged: play, pause, speed and layout commands, plus the script's title and timing so the remote can show progress. The script text itself is never sent.
• The device name you choose in Settings › Remote Control is shown to your other devices.

Children

MyPrompt+ is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
