Wish You Were Beer is a camera and sharing app for iPhone, made by You Know That Site. This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: it doesn't collect any.

What we collect

Nothing. Wish You Were Beer has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We don't receive your photos, your words or any other data, and we don't share anything with third parties.

What stays on your device

• Your pictures are made on your device. The pub name, your words, the time and the price are drawn into the picture there.
• Your last choices (the pub name, your words, the currency and the look) are remembered on your device so you don't have to type them again.
• Photos you choose from your library are read only when you pick them. The finished picture is redrawn from scratch, so hidden information in the original, such as where it was taken, is not carried over.

If you delete the app, this information is deleted with it. If you use the web version, it is kept in your browser and cleared when you clear the site's data.

Camera

The app asks for camera access so you can photograph your drink. The camera is used to take the picture you see on screen. Nothing is recorded, uploaded or sent anywhere. The app does not use the microphone or your location.

Sharing

The app only shares a picture when you press Share. Share hands the picture to the app you choose, such as Instagram, Threads, X or WhatsApp. What that app does with it is covered by its own policy.

Children

Wish You Were Beer is about alcohol and is intended for adults of legal drinking age. It collects no information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
